Public Meetings for New Stanton Borough
Notice is hereby given:
The Council of the Borough of New Stanton shall schedule two regular business meetings each month in 2026:
January 5th and 20th, February 3rd and 17th, March 3rd and 17th, April 7th and 21st, May 5th and 19th, June 2nd and 16th,
July 7th and 21st, August 4th and 18th, September 1st and 15th, October 6th and 20th, November 10th and 17th, December 1st and 15th.
Please note that the second meeting of each month will be held on as-needed basis. All meetings are at 6:00 p.m.
Planning Commission meetings will be held on January 14th, February 11th, March 11th, April 8th, May 13th, June 10th, July 8th, August 12th,
September 9th, October 14th, November 11th, December 9th. All meetings are at 7:00 p.m.
Zoning Hearing meetings will be held on January 12th, February 9th, March 9th, April 13th, May 11th, June 8th, July 13th, August 10th,
September 14th, October 12th, November 9th, December 14th. All meetings are at 7:00 p.m.
Budget meetings will be held October 6th @ 4:00pm - October 13th @ 4:30 pm - October 20th @ 4:00pm - October 27th @ 4:30 p.m.

NEW STANTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
Meets the first and third (if needed) Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Meetings are held in Council Chambers of the Borough Building located at 318 Paintersville Road - New Stanton, PA 15672

NEW STANTON BOROUGH ZONING BOARD
Zoning Board meetings start at 7:00 p.m. (see dates above)
The Zoning Board hears the appeal of individuals who have been denied permits because of violations of the Zoning Ordinance.
The members are appointed by New Stanton Borough Council for three year terms, Attorney John Sweeney serves as Solicitor.

NEW STANTON BOROUGH PLANNING COMMISSION
Planning Commission meetings start at 7:00 p.m. (see dates above)
New Stanton Borough Planning Commission is made up of seven (7) members who are Borough residents. These members are appointed to a four-(4) year term by New Stanton Borough Council and meet on the second Wednesday of each month as needed. The current board is comprised of the following members: James Evans, Tim Seale, Mina Crusan, John Gomolak, Charles Humes & Attorney John Campfield serves as Solicitor. The primary function of the Planning Commission is to review plans for development and make their recommendation to Council. click on the "Download the Meeting Calendar" above
NEW STANTON BOROUGH APPEALS BOARD
New Stanton Borough currently uses Central Westmoreland Council of Government (C.W.C.O.G.) as the Appeals Board.
Their primary function is to hear appeals of denied permits through the Uniform Construction Code (U.C.C.).
All meetings will be held at 7 PM, except Borough Council meetings which are held at 6:00 PM and all meetings are open to the public and will be held in the New Stanton Municipal Building located at 318 Paintersville Road, New Stanton, PA 15672. In the event a meeting is canceled, notice shall be hung on the door at the Municipal Building and will be publicized on the borough website, www.newstanton.org.
